Lucas Moves On From Tough 14-7 Loss To L.C.C.

Into Week 11 vs McDonald

It wasn't the ending to their regular season that Lucas was hoping for, dropping a tough battle against one of the best teams in the state. A 14-7 outcome that saw Lima Central Catholic (9-1) on top of the scoreboard at Bob Wine Field certainly helped prepare the Cubs for postseason play, though, and may provide some extra motivation heading into Week 11.

Lucas (8-2) earned the #2 seed in Division VII Region 25 and will host a playoff game to start their second season. Seventh-seeded McDonald (6-4) travels to play the Cubs in front of their home fans this Saturday where a hungry Cubs squad awaits their next challenge.

Following a run to the Regional Championship last year, Lucas has the experience and the talent to yet again make some noise in postseason play.
