MANSFIELD -- Wooster scored early, often and didn't stop until it had a 40-6 win over Mansfield Senior on Friday night at Arlin Field.
The Generals grabbed a 14-0 first-quarter bulge and expanded it to 28-0 at halftime.
Neither team scored in the third period, but Wooster made it 40-0 before a late score helped the Tygers avoid the shutout.
Dakarian Mitchell's 29-yard TD dash in the final period got the Tygers on the scoreboard.
Senior High falls to 1-4 overall, 1-3 in the Ohio Cardinal Conference.
Wooster is 5-0, 5-0, and a half-game ahead of Ashland in the OCC standings.
Next week the Tygers host Mount Vernon, while Wooster is at Louisville.
