Wooster Batters Rams 79-35
The Wooster Generals are off to a 3-0 start to their season with a dominating 79-35 win at Madison in OCC play.
The first quarter was a feeling-out process with the Rams hanging tough in a 14-12 contest, but Wooster would go on a 23-13 run in the second with Ezra McKee scoring nine of his game-high 26 points in the frame.
The third quarter is where the Generals put the game out of reach, dismantling Madison 28-2 in the stanza for a commanding 65-27 advantage heading into the final frame where they outscored the Rams 14-8.
Three Wooster players finished in double-figures with Reece Mitchell scoring 15 and Micah McKee adding 14 to his brother's monster performance. Tyler Tackett was the top scorer for Madison with nine, followed by Dylan Metz with eight and Isaac Brooks with seven.
Next up for the Generals is a home game vs Copley while Madison (1-4) travels to Bishop-Watterson.
