Wooster Takes Rivalry Win At Orrville

When Wooster and Orrville get together to renew their rivalry you can throw out the records, but the Generals showed why they've lost just once all season, hammering the Red Riders on the road 52-36.

Behind the hot shooting of Brayden Hamilton and a stellar defensive effort, Wooster (17-1) led from wire to wire by building an 11-7 first quarter lead that swelled o 30-18 by the half. Hamilton finished with a game-high 18 points, knocking down four 3-pointers while also grabbing six boards.

The Generals locked down Orrville (4-14) in the third to seize complete control, holding the Red Riders to a single field goal while outscoring them 16-6. With a 22-point margin heading into the fourth, Wooster took their foot off the gas, coasting to a 16-point rivalry victory.

Ezra McKee put up nine pts and 6 rebs for the Generals who got eight pts and three steals from Reece Mitchell, seven pts and 5 rebs from Drew Dossi and six pts by Owen Roach as they extended their winning streak to seven in a row.
