WOOSTER -- Wooster hosted West Holmes for an important OCC battle where a 69-53 Generals victory kept them spotless in league play at 7-0.

 

The Generals (10-1) came out electric in the first quarter getting quality minutes and buckets from key starters to build a 23-11 advantage.  Brayden Hamilton and Drew Dossi were scoring left and right, while Micah McKee got hot from long range to build a healthy 49-16 halftime cushion.

 

While the Knights (10-4) struggled to score the basketball in the first two periods, the 2nd half was a different story. West Holmes began to crawl back to within striking distance, but right when the tide appeared to be turning, the Generals would slam the door to put them away. At the end of the 3rd the score was 58-30 before Wooster took their foot off the gas in the final frame where the Knights made a 23-11 run, but the outcome had already been determined.

 

Hamilton led all scorers with 19 with David Nolen adding 13 for the OCC-leading Generals.
