Four weeks remain in the 2019 high school football season and many area teams are still alive for
playoff spots.

Division 3, Region 10
#1 Mansfield Senior (6-0) vs #11 Ashland - The Tygers have all but locked up a playoff spot, but
have a golden shot at a 10-0 regular season and the top seed. They host the 2-4 Arrows who could jump
into the top-eight if they can pull off the upset.

Division 4, Region 14
#3 Galion (5-1): @ #7 Shelby - The Tigers had a chance to create some distance as the top team in the
region last week, but their comeback against Clear Fork fell short. They have a chance to get back on
top of the rankings on Friday. The 5-1 Whippets could make a case for a top-four spot with a victory.
#6 Clear Fork (4-2): Vs. Ontario - The Colts got a big win at Galion last Friday to get back into the top
eight. They can stay there with a victory at home against the 2-4 Warriors and could move up with some
help.

Division 6, Region 22
#1 Seneca East (6-0): Vs. #13 Carey - The Tigers avoided an upset at Wynford and moved to the top of
the region and look to avoid a letdown Friday. The 2-4 Blue Devils look to get back into the playoff
discussion with an upset.
#2 Western Reserve (5-1): Vs. Monroeville - The Roughriders moved up the rankings with a win over
4-1 South Central last week and will look to hold position with a win over the 1-5 Eagles.
#4 Northmor (5-1): @ Cardington - The Golden Knights suffered a tough setback to East Knox last
week, but didn't drop out of the top four. They can remain in the final home field postseason spot with a
win over the 1-5 Pirates.
#5 Hillsdale (5-1): Vs. Chippewa - A big rushing performance downed the Falcons last week as they fell
out of the top four. They can hold position with a win over the 1-5 Chipps.
#11 Crestview (4-2): Vs. New London - The Cougars took care of business last week to remain within
striking distance of the top eight. They can move closer to postseason position with a win over the 1-5
WIldcats.
#12 Col. Crawford (3-3): Vs. Buckeye Central - The Eagles missed a golden oppertunity to get into the
top eight last week in its 32-25 loss to Mohawk. They can remain in the conversation with a victory over
the winless Bucks.
#14 Bucyrus (3-3): Vs. Mohawk (#8 D7, R26) - The Redmen are still hanging around in the region and
could really get back into the conversation with a win over the 3-3 Warriors, who can hold position in the
top eight with a win on the road.

Division 7, Region 25
#4 Lucas (5-1): Vs. St. Charles - The Cubs have a tough test in the Division 2 Cardinals who currently
sit in 12th in Region 8 at 4-2. A lot of playoff points at stake in this one that could lock Lucas into the
postseason with a win.

#13 South Central (4-2): @ St. Paul (#3 D7, R26) - The Trojans have a tough test in the Firelands-
leading Flyers, who sit at 6-0 and are on a 49-game conference win streak. South Central can vault into

the top eight with an upset win while the Flyers can stay in home playoff position with a victory.

Division 7, Region 26
#12 Plymouth (4-2): Vs. Mapleton - The Big Red got back on track last Friday taking care of business
against New London. They will look to do the same against the winless Mounties to remain in the hunt.
