Warriors Tomahawk River Valley 60-33

MOAC favorite Ontario ended a 2-game skid with an impressive 60-33 victory over previously unbeaten River Valley at the O-Rena.

The Vikings got off to a hot start with Ethan Bell drilling a pair of early triples, but the Warriors would storm back to claim a 16-10 advantage after the opening frame. Ontario then locked down the clamps defensively on River Valley, holding them scoreless in the second quarter while extending their lead to 30-10 at the break.

The Warriors then put the game out of reach by outscoring the Vikings 21-13 in the third as they drilled four of their 10 3-pointers in the stanza. With the contest no longer in question, Ontario coasted to a lopsided victory in the final period.

Bell finished with 16 points to lead River Valley who drops to 4-1 with the loss.

The Warriors received a game-high 18 points from Griffin Shaver, while Kolten Kurtz added 15 and Amil Upchurch dropped 14 to get back to .500 on the young season at 2-2.
