ONTARIO -- For the first time in 19 years, the Ontario football team is advancing in postseason play after the #9 Warriors tomahawked #24 Vermilion 62-0 at Niss Stadium.

The win marks the 5th straight for Ontario who got a lights out performance from senior QB Ethan Snyder who went 11-14 through the air with 226 yards and 5 TD's. Fellow senior WR Griffin Shaver hauled in four of those completions for 92 yards and 3 scores while Kolten Kurtz and Owen Hatfield both had TD grabs.

An outmatched Sailors defensive unit saw a balanced Warriors attack roll up over 435 yards of total offense, including 210 yards on the ground where freshman back Grayson Ginn tallied 84 yards and 2 scores on just 2 carries. Ontario (5-2) now moves on to face #8 Kenton (3-2) who boasts one of the top passing games in the entire state.
