NORTH ROBINSON -- A commanding lead was built from the jump by top-seeded Colonel Crawford who made light work of Van Buren (2-21) to claim a Division III Sectional title with a 78-44 victory over the .

 

The combination of Chase Walker and Carter Valentine was virtually unstoppable in the first half where the two combined for 34 points to help put the Eagles in front 52-20. Coach David Sheldon would then empty his bench in the second half as undefeated Crawford put 12 players in the scoring column over the course of a blowout victory.

 

The #3 state-ranked Eagles are now 23-0 and will advance to the Division III Shelby District to face #3 Willard (18-5) in a rematch of last years district semifinal, won by Crawford.
