BUCYRUS -- A huge 3-2 road win for Upper Sandusky at Bucyrus, sparked by a clutch late hit, ties both squads for the top spot in the Northern 10 Conference.

 

The Lady Red jumped on the board first by capitalizing on an error in the bottom of the first but the Rams immediately responded with a Liv Gier RBI in the second to tie things up. Jade Holman would later smack an RBI double down the left-field line in the fourth to give Upper Sandusky (13-7, 11-2) a 2-1 cushion.

 

Bucyrus (14-3, 11-2) bats would not drive in any runs despite producing baserunners just about every inning, but would tie the score in the fifth on a passed ball before getting gunned down at home plate to end the sixth. The Rams rode that momentum into a manufactured run in the seventh where Jenna Fagan cracked the game-winning RBI single through the middle of the infield to tie Upper for the league lead.
