Mansfield Senior continued to roll as they blanked rival Lexington on the road 42-0, holding the Minutemen to just 62 yards of total offense.
The Tygers (6-0) got on the board with just under four minutes left in the opening quarter when QB Cameron Todd found Cyrus Ellerbe for an 85-yard touchdown pass making it 7-0 after one.
Todd then used his legs for Mansfield Senior's second score of the game going in from 5 yards away tomake it 14-0 before they added another score with a minute left in the half when Amajeon Robertson went in from 2 yards out making it 21-0 at the break.
The Tygers then put it away in the third with two more scores, both by Terrance Flickenger, pushing its
lead to 35-0. Angelo Grose finished the scoring midway through the fourth with a 32-yard run as Mansfield Senior put up 316 rush yards and 477 yards of total offense while the defense continues to dominate as they have
only allowed 24 points through six games.
The Tygers remain at the top of the OCC and the Division 3, Region 10 standings with the victory and will look to stay unbeaten when they host Ashland (2-4) Friday night.
The Minutemen (1-5) will look to break its 5-game losing skid when they travel to West Holmes (2-4) in Week 7.
