Tygers Football Competing To Wrap-Up Summer
The start of the high school football season is just around the corner as summer practice sessions wind down for area programs. Mansfield Senior used a few of their 10-day practices to compete in 7 on 7 tournaments over the last week, including a contest at Arlin Field against some of the top programs in Ohio.
Tygers head coach Chioke Bradley, now entering his 9th season leading his alma mater, sees a lot of value in competing at 7 on 7 events to “get the football juices flowing”. Bradley says, “Whenever you can get an opportunity to put your kids in situations to compete and find ways to win, I believe that’s priceless.”
Mansfield Senior begins 2-a-day practice sessions on July 30 and will kick off the new season on August 24 at Norwalk.
