UPPER SANDUSKY -- Upper Sandusky (1-2) dropped their second straight home game in a 70-55 loss to Toledo Christian (3-0) who got a game-high 30 points from senior guard Cole McWhinnie.

The Eagles stormed out of the gates to a 10-0 advantage and never relinquished the lead. While the Rams got impressive performances from both Gavin Carey and Trent Beamer, who combined for 45 points, they weren't able to out-duel the explosive Toledo Christian backcourt. Trevor Wensink added 19 pts to McWhinnie's Player of the Game performance, as the Eagles knocked down 12 three-pointers and drilled 26 field goals.
