Spartans Slash Crestline 53-35
The four-time defending Mid-Buckeye Conference champion St. Peter’s Spartans continued their league dominance by protecting home court against visiting Crestline, routing the Bulldogs 53-35.
St Peter’s led from start to finish, going on top in the opening seconds and never looked back, as the squad built an 11-7 first quarter cushion that extended to 29-12 by the half with an 18-4 run to end the second quarter. Crestline outscored the Spartans 13-11 in the third and would trim the deficit to 12 early in the final frame, but St Peter’s balanced attack would cement a home court win.
