BELLVILLE --- The defending kings of the MOAC remained undefeated in their quest to repeat as league champs as Shelby knocked off Clear Fork at the Colt Corral behind a career-high 34 point scoring performance by Whippets senior guard Cody Lantz.

Shelby (9-1) got off to a fast start, owning a 25-16 advantage after the first and maintained their lead at 44-36 heading into the half. The Colts (3-5) would make their move in the third, outscoring the Whippets 19-11 to eliminate the deficit as the contest entered the fourth quarter all square at 55-55. Clear Fork would go cold from the floor down the stretch, however, allowing Shelby to close out their sixth straight victory in league play, and fifth in a row overall.
