The Ontario Warriors stuck with the River Valley Vikings through three quarters, but costly turnovers allowed the Vikings to pull away for a 34-0 victory.
The game was scoreless through the first quarter, but the Vikings (5-1) reached the end zone right before the break as Cooper Graham ran in from 2-yards out making it 7-0 River Valley at the half. Graham then scored on the defensive side of the ball as he returned an interception 67 yards for his second score of the night making it 14-0 with 8:12 left in the third.
The Vikings then put the game away in the fourth as Jake Green ran in from a yard out to make it 21-0. River Valley then immediately got the ball back on a turnover and cashed in via a Luke Rogers 28-yard rushing score making it 28-0.
River Valley then finished the scoring with a Jarrid Miracle 22-yard touchdown reception to finish the scoring at 34-0.
The Vikings remain a game back in the MOAC while moving into the top 8 in Division 3, Region 10 in 7th place. They host 4-2 Pleasant on Friday night.
The Warriors (2-4) fall two games back in the conference and need to do work to get back into the playoff picture. They travel to 4-2 Clear Fork next Friday night.
