Warriors Beat Flames For 5th Straight Win

The Ontario Warriors kept its win streak alive with a 3-0 blanking of Mansfield Christian on Senior night
at the Ontario Soccer Complex.

Neither team was able to put the ball into the net in the first half as both teams combined for only four
shots on goal (Ontario -3, MCS - 1).

The Warriors (5-4-2) finally broke through in the 46th minute when Boston Baxter broke away on a feed
from Kyle Woods and was able to deflect the ball off of Flames keeper Gavin Kiliany and into the net for
a 1-0 advantage.

Ontario then extended its lead in the 53rd minute when Wyatt Dille knocked in a deflection off of the
Kiliany to make it 2-0.

Dille then finished the scoring in the 73rd minute when he took a throw-in from Ian Sanjur and kicked it
through the five-hole of Kiliany making it 3-0.

Ontario moves its win streak to five and will remain out of conference as they host Granville on Saturday
at noon while Mansfield Christian (3-8-1) will host Kingsway Christian Academy on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
