#2 Napoleon Takes Down Norton 47-35

For Regional Championship

MANSFIELD --- The Napoleon Lady Wildcats are heading to Dayton and the Division 2 State Final Four after using a strong second half to knock off Norton 47-35.

The Panthers started the game strong on defense holding #2 Napoleon to 5 points in the opening quarter for an 11-5 lead.

​

The Lady Wildcats then picked up the pace going on an 11-2 run in the second to take the lead and head into the break up 19-18.

 

The game then went back-and-forth to start the third quarter before Napoleon went on another run, this one a 12-1 run to take control and repeat as Regional Champions.

 

The Lady Wildcats were led by Caely Ressler's 13 points while Sophie Chipps also scored in double figures with 11 points.

 

Norton was led by Kaylee Murawski's game high 16 points while Bailey Shutsa followed with 9 points.
