Mohawk Stuns Upper 61-53

UPPER SANDUSKY --- The last game of the regular season was a date between two tough N10 rivals, that saw Upper Sandusky fall to Mohawk in a high flying affair 61-53.

Both teams were shooting the lights out from deep out of the gates as the Warriors had 7 made three-pointers in the first half. The Rams almost matched them with 6 of their own, and Trent Beamer was a walking highlight through the first two frames blocking shots and even flying high in for a few dunks.

After 2 quarters Mohawk was out to an early advantage 36-26.

As play resumed, Mohawk went quiet from three-point range, especially AJ Hess, who had 15 1st half points a multitude of those points coming from long range. The Rams would try to cut into the deficit but after 3 they couldn’t do much as the score was still 48-42 in favor of the Warriors.

Mohawk stepped up their three point shooting as it was crunch time and would eventually put Upper Sandusky away at the free-throw line.

Your Quest Federal Credit Union player of the game was Hess who had 19 points to lead Mohawk over the Rams. Enjoy the entire game with Storm Bluntschly and Garret Parlett on the call on the video above.
