CLEAR FORK THROTTLES RIVER VALLEY 13-3

BELLVILLE --- The Clear Fork Colts used a big fourth inning offensive explosion to knock off River Valley 13-3 in 6 innings for its first MOAC win of the season.

The Colts (2-3, 1-0 MOAC) scored the game's first five runs, but River Valley (0-4, 0-1 MOAC) answered with a three-spot in the top of the fourth to cut the deficit to 5-3.

Clear Fork answered immediately in the bottom of the inning using a mixture of timely hitting and taking advantage of multiple Vikings errors to put six runs up in the frame to take an 11-3 lead.

The Colts then finished things off in the bottom of the sixth needing only three batters to score twice and finish the game 13-3.
