MANSFIELD -- A fast start by Lexington at Pete Henry Gym saw a hot finish by Mansfield Senior top the Minutemen for a 46-39 victory in OCC play.

 

The Minutemen (4-9) would build a 14-9 advantage through one-quarter of play and maintained a 22-18 edge at the halftime break with Jack Depperschmidt leading the way with a dozen points. The Tygers (8-6) would then be outscored 10-9 in the third quarter before finding their stride in the final frame.

 

With Player of the Game Maurice Ware leading the way with a game-high 15 pts, Senior High would go on a 19-7 run to close out the game to score their second victory over Lexington in a week's time.
