ASHLAND -- The Ashland Arrows and Lexington Minutemen faced off in an OCC conference matchup where Arrows jr. Luke Denbow eclipsed his 1,000th career point in a 57-42 victory.

 

The game started out very competitive as both teams traded punches leaving the first quarter in a dead tie. Ashland, however, was able to gain a slight edge on the Minutemen going into the halftime break up 30-22 with a second quarter spurt.

 

The third period is where things would take a big turn in the Arrows favor. Their offense rolled over Lexington's defense as Denbow made the quarter legendary by becoming the 6th highest scoring player in Ashland's history. The success from Denbow was contagious as Ashland took over the game and pulled away for a big conference win.
