CENTERBURG -- The Danville Lady Devils held off a second half comeback by the Centerburg Lady Trojans to earn a season split with a 62-49 victory.

 

The Lady Devils (8-3, 5-3 KMAC) juped out to a 30-16 halftime lead, but the Lady Trojans (3-11, 2-7 KMAC) came out of the break on fire outscoring Danville 22-15 in the third quarter to only trail 45-38 heading into the fourth.

 

Danville would hold on, however, hitting 7-of-8 free throws down the stretch as they recorded three players in double figures as Brooklynn Hess and Ella Proper each scored 19 points while Alenah Boeshart scored 11 points.

 

Centerburg was led by Avery Tucker, Chloe Goulter and Clara Kohnson, who each scored 8 points.
