Galion Gets State #1 Titans
For Spot In Regional Finals
The Galion Tigers are preparing for its first regional semifinal appearance in 14 years as they face state
#1 Ottawa-Glandorf on Halloween night.
The seventh-ranked Tigers swept Upper Sandusky in the sectional final before defeating Willard and
Huron in four sets each in the district tournament.
Galion is now 27-1 with its only loss coming on August 28th in a 5-set setback to Watterson 15-25, 25-
22, 25-20, 21-25, 17-15.
Ottawa-Glandorf cruised through its sectional and district tournaments sweeping Delta, Evergreen and
Patrick Henry before knocking off Fairview in four sets in the district final.
The Titans come in with a record of 24-2 with both losses coming to Division 4 state #1 St. Henry.
First serve for the Division 3 Regional Semifinal at Lake High School is scheduled for 7:30 PM on
Thursday night.
