Barnesville Walks Off Vs Freddies 3-2

Regional baseball kicked off as Fredericktown was set to face Barnesville, this game would be an instant classic and finish through 12 innings. The Shamrocks would walk off 3-2.

Both pitching staffs and defense were excellent tonight as neither side could really get rolling offensively. Shamrocks held the Freddie’s to only 5 hits through 12 innings! Incredible defensive play.

Shamrocks got on the board first as Adyen Hannah stole home to take a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Not much happened until Fredericktown would tie things up at 1 when Caleb Sheriff would have an RBI to knot things up.

We would head to extras where defense dominated all the way up until the 12th inning when finally the Freddie’s got their first lead of the night off a Trevor Jobes single. Shamrocks we’re down to their final three outs when they would get an RBI to tie things up. Then Logan Shepherd stepped up to the plate and would deliver and walk off vs the Freddies 3-2. Barnesville will advance to the Regional Championship.
