Fisher Catholic Makes Late Run

To Edge Centerburg 42-41 In Thriller

CENTERBURG -- A fun non-conference would come down to the wire at Centerburg where Fisher Catholic made a few clutch plays down the stretch to edge the Lady Trojans 42-41.

Centerburg (4-13) got out of the  gates hot, building a 15-9 cushion heading into the second quarter where the Lady Irish (11-2) got hot from long distance to storm into the break with a 23-21 advantage. The second half went back and forth with Fisher Catholic on top 33-32 entering the fourth, but would find themselves trailing in the closing seconds before making some critical plays in crunch time to escape with a win.
