Edison met up with Colonel Crawford for a D3 District semifinal where the Chargers would advance in a tight defensive battle 3-0.

 

Neither team's offense could get things going as stud pitcher Kira Appeman was dealing on the hill for the Chargers. She pitched a full game shutout, only allowing 3 Eagle hits.

 

Edison struggled offensively as well but would show up just enough to get the job done. They scored two runs in the bottom of the 4th. One from Deana Blatnik which was an RBI double, Olivia Vitaz would get her piece of the pie as she had an RBI single that would extend the lead to 2-0.

 

Defense would carry the Chargers, however they would get another insurance run before going into the final 3 outs off a Colonel Crawford error. It was 3-0 going into the last inning of play. Edison would close things out and move onto the District final where they will meet up with familiar foe Huron. The two teams split their season series.
