CENTERBURG --- The Centerburg Trojans clinched its second consecutive KMAC championship after defeating Danville 63-46 in its regular season finale.

The two teams started off slow with the Trojans (15-3, 13-1 KMAC) holding a 13-4 lead after one. Centerburg then got its offense going shooting 50% from beyond the arc while Danville continued to shoot poorly from the field as the Trojans took a 36-11 lead into the break.

​

The Centerburg lead then pushed out to as much as 26 before the Blue Devils (1-21, 0-12 KMAC) started hitting shots making things interesting cutting the lead down to 12 late in the fourth quarter before the Trojans put the game away.

​

Alex Johnson led a balanced Centerburg attack scoring 14 points. Landon Griffith, Levi Houck and Grayson Reynolds each scored 8 points and Carter Jones and Colton Martin added 6 points each.

​

Darren Mickley led all scorers with 15 points for Danville, all from beyond the arc, while Max Payne also scored in double figures with 13 points. Levi Lyons added 7 points.
