Lucas Moving On To State Final 4

For the first time in program history, the Lucas Cubs are state bound with a 21-13 win over top-seeded Cuyahoga Heights to win the Division VII Region 25 championship.

Led by a fierce running attack, paced by Tommy Zirzow and Ethan Sauder, who combined for over 250 yards and 3 touchdowns, Lucas was able to survive the inclement weather for a trip to the final four. The Cubs defense also came up huge against the Redskins, forcing a fumble at the 1-yard-line in the closing seconds to secure the win.

At 11-2, #7 Lucas will next face #4 Canal Winchester Harvest Prep (12-1) at St. Francis DeSales Alumni Stadium.
