CRESTLINE -- A monster fourth quarter allowed Crestview to remain perfect on the year at 3-0 with a 64-54 victory at Crestline in boys hoops.

Despite turning over the ball a dozen times to just one for the Cougars, the Bulldogs (1-3) would own a 27-26 advantage heading into the half by holding Crestview star Evan Hamilton to just five points. A tightly contested third would see the Cougars claw their way into the lead at 44-43 as the Dogs appeared to be wearing down.

 

The final eight minutes would belong to Crestview who outscored Crestline 20-11 in the frame, putting three players in double-figures scoring, led by Hamilton with 17, Evan Gibbs added 15 and Owen Barker put up 12 off the bench. Ethan Clark carried the Bulldogs with 14 pts and 7 rebounds.
