NORTH ROBINSON -- Late momentum overcame a slow start for Colonel Crawford who used a 20-point 4th quarter to knock off Western Reserve at the Eagles Nest, 43-39.

The Eagles (1-0) scored just 12 first half points with Chase Walker scoring 6, as the Roughriders took a

23-11 advantage into the half. Mason Studer started to find his range in the 3rd, helping Crawford trim the deficit down to eight heading into the fourth where Western Reserve was outscored 20-8.

 

Studer dropped 17 to lead all scorers with Walker adding 10 including two clutch free throws in the final seconds to seal the victory. Luke Rowlinson and John Skrada each put up a dozen to lead the Roughriders offensiveley.

The Eagles are now 2-0 and will next host Buckeye Central (1-1) while Western Reserve (1-1) will next travel to Mapleton (0-0).
