State #1 Mansfield St. Peter's (24-0) remained undefeated with a 70-30 blowout of #12 Monroeville (1-22) in the Division IV Lexington Sectional Championships. Spartans senior guard Elijah Cobb eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for his career, scoring a game-high 23 points while Jared Jakubick added 20 points to carry the St. Peter's offense. Cody Schaffer finished with a team-best 15 Eagles points but no other Monroeville player had more than three in the loss. Next up for the Spartans is a third matchup against Mid-Buckeye foe Lucas (15-8) in the district semifinals.
