Ontario Puts Away Clear Fork 64-48

The Ontario Warriors held serve on their home floor against visiting Clear Fork in MOAC play, trouncing the Colts 64-48 with a dominating opening half.

The Warriors (11-4) came out strong, building a large 22-11 lead in the 1st with Griffin Shaver scoring 10 of his game-best 19 points in the frame. Ontario then clamped down defensively in the second, holding Clear Fork to just six points as they increased their edge to 36-17 heading into the half.

Senior guard Brennan South would get his Colts (8-9) on the comeback trail in the third, scoring nine of the team's 21 points in the stanza as Clear Fork trimmed the deficit to 51-38 entering the final eight minutes of action.
