It was a season to remember for the East Knox football team who made history by setting a school record with 13 wins as the Bulldogs made it to State for the first time in program history.

 

Leading the way for East Knox was senior running back Caleb Gallwitz who was named a 1st-Team All-Ohio selection and co-Offensive Player of the Year in Division VI for his incredible record-setting season.

 

Gallwitz rushed for an amazing 2,841 yards and 48 touchdowns on 308 carries, helping the Bulldogs to the state semifinals with a 13-1 record. The senior standout was also named Central District Offensive Player of the Year and KMAC Player of the Year as East Knox won an outright league title.

Three other players will share the state honor along with Gallwitz, including Anna's Riley Huelskamp,  Western Reserve's Cody Benesh, and Southeastern's Lane Ruby.
