It was all Crestview in the Cougar Den tonight as the Cougars routed Bucyrus 85-43.

 

The Cougars win puts them at 4-0 where they haven't been since sometime before the 2004 season. Right from the opening tip, Crestview would not be denied their historic start as they jumped out to an 11-0 lead and led 25-5 after the 1st Quarter.

 

10 of Crestview's 11 players wound up scoring, led by Evan Hamilton's 19 points. Owen Barker had 15, Koby Roman finished with 11 and Evan Gibbs had 10. As a team, the Cougars hit 10 3-pointers.

 

Mike Wise led the Bucyrus offense with 14 points while Grady Jackson added 10.

 

The Cougars return to action Friday at South Central.

 

Bucyrus is back on the hardwood Saturday at Seneca East.
