Loudonville Focusing on Finishing & Conditioning
Looking to Bounce Back After OT Loss Week 1
Sep 3, 2020
The 2019 season proved to be a bumpy ride for Loudonville football who finished just 1-9 but felt they easily could have made a push for the postseason by closing out victories in a few of their tight games.
The Redbirds dropped three contests last year by 3-points or fewer and are motivated by head coach Kevin Maltarich to finish off opponents in 2020 with superior strength and conditioning.
A win in Week 1 was critical in senior lineman Bo Reagan's eyes, but Loudonville would fall in another close contest to kick off the season, losing at home in overtime to Wooster Trway 28-21. Senior Ben Stanger believes his squad will "get out" what they "put in" this season, hoping to get a win out of Week 2 on the road at Fairless.
