ONTARIO -- Ashland senior pitcher Chase Hunt put the squad on his back in a 7-0 win at Ontario to help score the Arrows first win of the season.

 

Hunt would deliver from the plate in the top of the first with a 2 RBI single, aiding a 3-0 Ashland (1-5) spurt to open the contest. He would then throw six innings of scoreless ball, allowing just 2 Warriors (4-3) hits with a near-flawless defense backing him.

 

After the Arrows extended their advantage to 4-0 in the fourth off a wild pitch, Metzger and Reyman would later collect RBI in the sixth to setup the knockout blow delivered by Hunt. An RBI triple would add some sauce to Hunt's already impressive day, earning a much-needed victory for Ashland.
