Ashland stomped Clear Fork on a cool Monday afternoon 9-4. Despite the chilly weather Ashland came out of the gates red hot starting the game off with a two run big fly to take an early lead. Ashland would then go on to add four more runs in the third inning taking a commanding lead of the game early. It would be the Ashland defense coming up big once again holding Clear Fork to two runs through four innings. Ashland would once again score on solid contact in the top of the fifth giving Ashland its seventh run of the afternoon and extending their lead to five. When it was all said and done Ashland would put nine runs on the board and Clear Fork would tack on one more run in the bottom of the fifth. Closing things out would be Stromack for the Arrows who struck out Clear Fork in the bottom of the seventh to put a bow on this one and send Ashland home with a W.
