The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association has named Mansfield Senior's Angelo Grose Defensive Player
of the Year for Division 3.

The Michigan State commit leads the Tygers in tackles through 14 weeks with 112 (67 solo / 45 assist)
and 1.5 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 2 interceptions, 1 punt block and
1 field goal block.

On offense, Grose leads the team in receiving with 76 receptions for 1,038 yards and 12 touchdowns. He
also rushed the ball 28 times for 187 yards with four touchdowns and returned a punt and a kick for a
touchdown.

Grose was named All-Ohio 1st-Team defense and is a finalist for Ohio's Mr. Football.

Mansfield Senior (13-1) will face Trotwood-Madison (11-3) on Friday at 3:00 PM at Canton's Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium for the Division 3 State Championship.
