The Willard girls’ basketball squad punched their ticket to the Division II District Championship with a 45-34 victory over rival Shelby, thanks in large part to senior Lydia Wiers game-high 14 points. Wiers standout performance landed her in the running for OH.Report’s Hardwood Hero: Tournament Edition, where she received 37% of the total vote to earn the title.
