Warriors Soccer Has 'Lots of Options' For Success

Developing, Young Core Leads The Way

Aug 20, 2020

Wrapping up their season at 11-7-4 the Ontario boys soccer team looks to take command of a challenging 2020 schedule. Foes such as Lexington, Revere, Bay, and Granville lay ahead of them this fall, but the young squad is looking to build on a 2019 campaign where the Warriors overachieved.

Warriors head coach Chris Mcclenathan has a lot of confidence in his guys heading into the season, telling OH.Report, “well it’s still early but we have lots of options that are coming up." He added, "We're pretty young; there are about 14 juniors out there right now and a couple of them are primed to step into that leading scorer role and take the next step from last year. So we're excited about that part of the game.”

Ontario High School Men's Soccer travels to rival Lexington Schools to kick off the season hoping to end a 3-match slide against the purple and gold.
