For the first time in program history, Mansfield Senior is preparing for a Regional Championship football game.

The second-seeded Tygers tied a school record with their 11th win of the season, beating Holy Name 45-30 for a spot in the Division III Region 10 final where they will face a familiar opponent.

After a several year layoff in between meetings, Senior High will now face Sandusky for a second time this season. The fifth-seeded Blue Streaks (9-3) knocked off #1 Norwalk 31-15 for their spot in the Region 10 title match, but dropped their regular season meeting at Mansfield in Week 5 by a score of 21-14.

With a veteran coaching staff and an impressive group of senior leaders, the Tygers feel as though they've "got the juice" to handle anybody's best shot, which they expect to face every week. The longtime rivals will face off at Clyde on Friday with a slot in the Final Four on the line.
