DAYTON - - - Napoleon took care of some "Unfinished Business" with a blowout victory over #4 Vinton County to claim the Division II State Championship with a 76-44 win at the University of Dayton.

The Wildcats (26-1) got huge performances from their three senior stars as Taylor Strock, Kalli Helberg and Caleigh Ressler combined for 57 points, 17 rebounds and 9 assists, shooting a collective 17-21 from the field and draining 19-25 free throws. They fueled Napoleon to a 12-8 lead heading into the second quarter where they would begin to sink the Vikings (26-2) ship.

A 10-13 shooting display in the third quarter blew open a 56-31 Wildcats lead before coach Cory Kreinbrink would empty the bench in the fourth to get every player into the contest. Napoleon would go on to cut down the nets with the program's 1st ever state championship, scoring the most points in the history of the OHSAA girls hoops D2 final.
