Mohawk Outlasts South Central 1-0
GALION -- The Warriors from Mohawk outlasted The Trojans from South Central in the Galion District Semifinals by a final score of 1-0.
This game was all defense all night long with only 8 total hits combined from both teams. It was also a very clean game from both squads with only one total error throughout 7 innings. Landen Snyder was on the bump for the Warriors but that did not stop him from leaving his mark on the game at the plate as well. He had the games only RBI after teammate Troy Russell reached first on an error, Snyder would smack a double deep into the outfield that would score pinch-runner Reese Hannam for a 1-0 Warriors lead in the bottom of the fifth.
Karl Ferber was on the mound for South Central and he had a stellar game as well, recording 6 strikeouts and only giving up a single run, but that's all the Warriors would need as they would win this one 1-0 and advance to the District Finals on Friday vs. Arlington.
