The 2019 Miss Ohio competition came to a close at the Mansfield Renaissance Theater where Cincinnati's Caroline Grace Williams was crowned as the winner. She took home a $10,000 scholarship, along with several others she earned throughout the pageant week along with other awards and prizes.

Williams platform at the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program is: "Caroline’s Crisis Call Know the F.A.C.T.S. of calling 9-1-1”. She wants to teach people how to call 9-1-1 quickly and effectively by showing them the features on a cell phone that can help those in an emergency. The 24-year-old is a graduate of Miami University where she double-majored in Music and Theater and works as an admissions counselor. She's currently in graduate school working on a masters in education.

21 contestants from across Ohio arrived in Mansfield for the week-long event beginning on June 9, with several events taking place including the Parade and appearances at several locations in Mansfield leading up to the crowning on Saturday night, June 15.

The Miss Ohio Scholarship program has been a part of Mansfield history and events for over 40 years.

Beside her in the crowning was first runner-up Miss Shawnee Grace Brown, 19, of Heath,  and second runner-up Miss Franklin County Mara Mason, 22, of Columbus.
