Minutemen Soccer Determined For Encore

Coming Off Record-Setting Season

Aug 20, 2020

The Lexington Schools boy's soccer team is excited to be back on the pitch again knowing that a 2020 season is on the way following a record-setting campaign last season. Excitement wasn't the only thing in the air, however; hard work, passion, and dedication were all very prevalent for the purple and gold as they work towards their opening night rivalry match against Ontario.

“The plan for this year is to be better than last year and that's not going to be easy,” says senior All-American Ryan Parker. He was adamant that he wanted not only himself to improve as an individual athlete, but also wanted to see the team improve as a unit.

Fighting all the way to the state final four and coming within one goal of a trip to Columbus is not a season that can be easily improved upon, but the Minutemen say they're up for the challenege. It all begins for the Minutemen at home when they host the Warriors as part of Friday Night Futbol.
