LEXINGTON - All-American Ryan Parker set the stage for a 3-1 Lexington victory over rival Ontario to kickoff the 2020 season with a successful home stand.

​Under the lights in front of a socially distanced crowd, the Minutemen saw Parker score a pair of first-half goals at the 29:37 mark followed by another in the 20th minute off a Teddy Togliatti throw-in assist to seize early momentum. With just 26 seconds left before the break, James Stewart headed-in a Warriors goal off an Ethan McCoy corner to trim the deficit to 2-1.

A defensive battle wrapped with senior Trevor Fehr delivering the knockout blow just 1:11 before the final whistle, extending Lexington's 'Friday Night Futbol' win streak to 4-straight over their Richland County nemesis.

The Minutemen (1-0) continue their season at home with Mansfield on Tuesday while Ontario (0-1) hosts Norwalk.
