2019 Honda Indy 200
An exciting week of racing at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington for the Honda Indy 200 served fans with an unbelievable finish to wrap-up the event.
Sunday, July 28th featured a full day of racing action for fans at the road course with competitions in the MX-5 Cup, Indy Pro 2000, USF 2000, Indy Lights. Stadium Super Trucks and the NTT IndyCar Series. In the main event a familiar face would again stand atop the podium, but it took the narrowest margin of victory in event history to decide the race.
Chip Ganassi Racing legend Scott Dixon won for a record sixth time at Mid-Ohio, holding off teammate Felix Rosenqvist for a 0.0934-second victory, the third closest finish in IndyCar history. Dixon took the checkered flag with a two pit-stop strategy that saw him take a commanding lead before battling it out with Rosenqvist over the last several laps with his car running low on fuel.
