In Person Featuring Ben Vore
One of the top baseball prospects in the state of Ohio hails from Lexington High School where 2019 graduate Ben Vore just finished up a stellar prep career. The future Cincinnati Bearcat was a standout on both the diamond and the basketball hardwood, also competing on the gridiron during the Minutemen’s best season in program history.
Vore has spent significant time molding his game during summer baseball, where he is competing for Bo Jackson Elite out of Columbus this year. As a member of Team Ohio Pro Select in 2018, the highly sought-after recruit traveled the country to battle top national prospects in an effort to attract the attention of both collegiate and pro scouts.
In this exclusive interview with OH.Report founder Brian Skowronski in their downtown Mansfield studio, Vore discusses the top memories from his high school career which included regional final trips in baseball and football, plus a state final four berth in hoops that he and the squad still talk about on a regular basis. Vore also takes us through the recruiting process, gives his two-cents on NBA free agency, takes on the “whisper challenge” and more.
