Mansfield Veteran To Fight At BK FC 4
During his professional fighting career, Mansfield’s Julian “Hellboy” Lane has made a name for himself with a reckless intensity that almost never supplies a dull moment. The 31-year-old veteran of more than 20 pro Mixed Martial Arts bouts has provided fans with fireworks both inside and outside the cage and even coined one of the most infamous phrases in UFC history when he said, “Let me bang bro” during an episode of The Ultimate Fighter.
Lane has competed all over the world in a number of top organizations while compiling a professional record of 12-8-1 in MMA, but has now shifted his focus on an emerging combat sport. The ancient art of Bare-Knuckle Boxing is experiencing a renaissance as a new era of the sport is beginning to gain traction around the globe.
Lane accepted his first bare-knuckle match in 2017, traveling to England to take on undefeated champion Jimmy Sweeney in his own backyard. Despite making his debut in hostile territory against a 17-0 fighter, Julian won the world middleweight title via decision and has been competing in the sport ever since.
Next up for Lane is a Pay Per View event on Saturday, February 2 in Cancun Mexico where “Hellboy” will take on “Bad Boy” Leonard Garcia at Bare Knuck Fighting Championship 4: USA vs Mexico. Prelims will begin at 7:45 pm ET on Facebook with the Main Card getting underway at 9 pm ET.
